  • While I don't often agree with Gingrich (and by often, I mean ever), or the GOP these days... I would agree that the current space program is garbage. So much comes from the space program, and it has always been a symbol of American excellence.

  • You know, I really feel sorry for this woman. Its a horrible story, and I wish there was an easy solution. However, there are a LOT of people being kicked out of their houses and I'm sure they all have a sad story.

  • Look, this is NOT talking about kids that are 10 or 15 pounds over weight. Its talking about kids that are "Super obese"... which means VERY VERY overweight. I know most Americans, being fat slobs themselves, are against government trying to keep people from being walking heart attacks...

  • The thing is, this is not talking about kids that a simply over weight. Its talking about kids that are VERY VERY over weight (super obese is the highest obesity classification).

  • Theres a bit of a difference here. If we were talking about a torrent site, you would have more of a point. Sites that host torrents don't actually have illegal content posted on their site... only a road map of how to get it, which isn't reallllly illegal.

  • As an athiest myself, let me remind you that Christianity and the Bible are nearly as violent and hate filled as Islam and the Koran. While some muslim extreamist might take the Koran literaly, that vast majority of them don't.... same with Christians.

  • While I respect this guys decision to try and stop the robbery... he would have been better off calling 911 and letting the police deal with it. In the vast majority of robberies, if the cashier just gives up the cash nothing bad will happen.
